The Jain community took out a procession to welcome Mumukshu Kumkum Kotdia

Dhamtari, May 20 (Hindustan Times). Acharya Pravar Sri 1008 Param Pujya Ramlalji Masa, Rajesh Muni Masa and Adi Thana Chaturvidha Sangh’s Pawan Nishra on May 28 will initiate Mumukshu Kumkum, daughter of Dhamtari of Kotdia family, at Kanode near Kotdia Khadai. A procession was taken out by the Jain community in honor of Mumukshu Kumkum Kotdia. People from other communities also honored the procession.

Shri Vardhaman Jain Sthanakawasi Shri Sangh organized Shri Jain Bhagwati Dikshaarthi Abhinandan Samaroh at Dhamtari. Under which a barghoda procession was taken from Gautamagrih Marathapara to Dikshaarthi Varghoda which concluded by reaching the old produce market. During the procession, young men and women of the Jain community performed melodious devotional songs and joined the Lagnagranthi. Also, during the procession, members of the Jain community and people from other communities welcomed Mumukshu sister. Public representatives and leaders arrived to congratulate Mumukshu sister. In which Congress District President Sharad Lohana, Divyangjan Advisory Board President Mohan Lalwani, Mayor Vijay Diwangan, former MLA Harshad Mehta, Councilor Rajendra Sharma, Mahendra Pandit etc. were involved. After the procession reached the Purani Mandi, there was a religious procession. In the afternoon, a ceremony was held to honor Kumkum Kotdia who took initiation. The Guru was praised through music. Apart from this, various programs will be held on 21st. On 25th at 12.36 pm Mumukshu sister will be sent away from her residence.
