Varanasi, May 20 (Hindustan Times). Sampurananda Sanskrit University Vice Chancellor Prof. Hariram Tripathi has been made the Vice-Chancellor of Kalidas Sanskrit University, Maharashtra. Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais has appointed him as the new Vice Chancellor of Kavi Kulguru Kalidas Sanskrit University. As soon as this information was received on Saturday, there was a rush of people congratulating the chancellor at Thom Nand Sanskrit University.
In an order issued by Santosh Kumar, Principal Secretary to the Governor of Maharashtra, the appointment is for five years from the date of assumption of charge or till they attain the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier. Prof. Hariram Tripathi assumed the charge of Vice Chancellor at Sampurananda Sanskrit University on 12 June 2021. His tenure was ending on 11 June 2024. Vice Chancellor Prof. Tripathi said that he will take over the new post only after completing the remaining works of Sampuranand Sanskrit University.
