Two youths from the Indian state of Punjab have been sentenced to death in Indonesia. After that the family has appealed to the Government of India for help.

Many agents claiming to send them abroad in the name of settling or studying in Punjab are fake and because of them many people are stuck abroad.

An agent promised to send two youths from a village near Amritsar to Indonesia and later to America for Rs 35 lakh each.

When these two youths went to Indonesia, the Indian agent took them hostage and started demanding money. The Indonesian police have now arrested both these youths from the airport on charges of killing an Indian agent. Both the youths are coming to India. As soon as the Indonesian court has sentenced them to death, a wave of anxiety has spread in the village and the relatives of the youths are crying.

The parents of the youth have blamed the agents for this and have declared themselves innocent.

Describing the innocence of the two youths, BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that the Indian government should intervene and appeal to the Indonesian government.
