Balaghat: Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has said that the Government of India is soon going to launch a Digital Agriculture Scheme, which will digitize the entire record of agriculture. With the use of satellites, complete information on agriculture will be brought online under this scheme. In which geo tagging of fields will be done. Agriculture will be linked with Aadhaar card, bank and schemes. The scheme will not only record yield but also state wise yield information.

Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said this while interacting with reporters in Balaghat on Saturday. Meanwhile, AYUSH Minister Ramkishore Kavre, Commission Chairman Gauri Shankar Bisen, BJP President Satyanarayan Agarwal, former BJP President Ramesh Bhatere were present. Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar arrived at the World Bee Day program organized at Rajabhoj Agricultural College in Murzar under Warsivni area of ​​Balaghat.

In a press conference held in Balaghat before the program, he said that with the digital agriculture scheme, farmers will not have to wander for no-exit bank loans. No farmer will be discriminated against due to satellite survey of affected farmers in Nishe and Pala.

He said that agriculture and farmers have always been Modiji’s priority. For the same reason, if we compare the agriculture budget in the previous Congress government, the agriculture budget in the Modi government has been increased to one lakh 25 thousand crores. Madhya Pradesh government is doing good work in agriculture sector. The agricultural growth of the state is consistently 18 percent.

He said that the Government of India is working fast to increase honey production. Export of honey from India has also increased. Honey production is proving to be a new dimension in terms of economy and employment. The environment of Balaghat is suitable for beekeeping and here also the farmers can do better in the field of honey through beekeeping. He said that the Modi government is working to jointly encourage farmers through FPO, if work is also done in honey through FPO, the government will fully support them.

He said that the Modi government has worked to double the prices of crops. Through PM Samman Nidhi, 2.5 lakh crore rupees have been distributed in the accounts of 11.5 thousand crore farmers of the country on a single click. Because of this, farmers have been exempted from taking loans from moneylenders for agriculture.

The Agriculture Minister said that in the then Vajpayee government, a limited amount of loans were given to farmers under the Kisan Credit Card, but the Modi government has increased it to Rs 20 lakh crore. Due to natural calamities, farmers are compensated through Pradhan Mantri Crop Insurance for losses to their crops.

He said that with organic and natural farming, where the cost to the farmers is reduced, the prices of the produce obtained from it are also good. On the other hand, natural and organic farming maintains soil fertility and gets rid of pollution. India has exported 4 lakh crore worth of material produced from organic and natural farming.

He said that the state government is working with the spirit of welfare of all. Recently the state government has launched Ladli Bahna Yojana and Chief Minister Interest Waiver Yojana. Which will free farmers from loan interest and make women financially independent. The government implemented the Ladli Lakshmi Yojana to prevent the death of the girl child in the womb. Due to which the thinking towards the girl child has changed.
