Dhirendra Shastri has expressed regret on social media, but has not apologised. Some time ago, Dhirendra Shastri tweeted a video from Bageshwar Dham’s official Twitter handle and expressed regret for his statement. He said that a topic has come to our attention for the past few days.
He further said that whatever was said by me during the discussion of the war between Lord Parashuramji and Maharaja Sahasrabahu Arjunji was based on what is mentioned in our holy Hindu scriptures. Our aim has never been and never will be to hurt the sentiments of any society or class, for we are always on the side of eternal unity. However, we apologize if any of our words hurt anyone’s feelings. We all Hindus are one, will remain one. Our unity is our strength.
