Amaravati is the center of politics in Andhra Pradesh. The YCP government is allotting house plots to the poor here in the R5 zone especially in view of the upcoming elections and the opposition is also gathering over the objections of the local farmers. In this order the High Court and the Supreme Court have also decided that house plots can be given here subject to their final decisions. With this, the government has increased the pace today.
CM Jagan has issued major instructions to officials regarding allotment of housing plots to the poor in R5 zone of Amravati. Along with this, they are also preparing to distribute diplomas at the end of this month at the hands of the Chief Minister. For this they are doing leveling work here at a cost of 20 crores. Along with this, arrangements are also being made to hold more programs on the day of the degree distribution.
The state government has also decided to lay the foundation stone for the construction of houses in Amravati R-5 zone on the house title day. For this a proposal has been sent from the state to the centre. The government has sent a proposal to the Center to construct a total of 47,017 houses in the R-5 zone. The government has decided to allot house plots to 51,392 people in R-5 zone.
The government is making arrangements to allot plots for those who can build houses and for the rest. The Center has been requested to cooperate for this. Government is planning to construct houses with shear wall technology under CRDA. Under this, it has been decided to issue the grant documents only after awarding the degrees to the beneficiaries. For development of layout of houses Rs. 50 crore for development of CRDA layout Rs. 20 crores have already been spent.
