Pune, May 19 (Hindustan Times). The National Executive Meeting of the All India Student Council will be held from May 25 to 28 at Maharishi Karve Stri Shiksha Sansthan, Pune. Bhoomipujan was performed at the meeting place on Friday.
The next action plan will be decided in the national executive meeting of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad and important discussions on education and contemporary issues will be held. The ground breaking ceremony of the venue for the meeting at Pune’s Maharishi Karve Mahila Shiksha Sansthan was completed on Friday. Former Union Minister Prakash Javadekar was also present on this occasion.
ABVP’s national executive met earlier in Pune 18 years ago in 2006. 472 worker representatives from various states across India will participate in the meeting to be held this year. The meeting will discuss social and educational issues through various sessions. An action plan will be made for the next year.
ABVP National Minister Ankita Pawar said that this NEC meeting of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad is very important considering the needs of the education sector at present. Currently, changes are taking place on a large scale in the education sector. With the implementation of the National Education Policy, a new transformational initiative has begun in the Indian education sector. All these aspects will be discussed in this meeting of ABVP.
