Morena: The birth anniversary of Lord Shanidev was celebrated with enthusiasm

Morena, May 19 (Hindustan Times). On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Lord Shani, a special prayer was offered at the Shani Mandir located in Antti on Friday. On this occasion, the devotees who came from all corners of the country got good benefits by having darshan of Lord Shani. Senior officers of the police and administration were deployed on the occasion.

On the occasion of Lord Shanidev’s birth anniversary, the devotees performed oil ablution till late night and took Dharmalabh. The birth anniversary of Lord Shanidev was celebrated with enthusiasm on Mount Aunty. Devotees from home and abroad started arriving at Aunty Mountain from Thursday night itself. The doors of the sanctum sanctorum were opened for the devotees after the anointing by the administration. From the sanctum sanctorum to the entrance of the temple, mats and pandals were placed by the administration to protect the devotees from the sun. The campus was decorated with full decorations and mungra flowers. About 20 to 22 thousand devotees had darshan on the occasion of Shani Jayanti.

District Magistrate Ankit Asthana and Superintendent of Police Shailendra Singh Chauhan offered prayers at the sanctum sanctorum. On the occasion of Shani Jayanthi, the officials kept a close eye on the arrangements. On this occasion the Chief Executive Officer of the District Panchayat Dr. Utishtha Gadhpale, Additional Collector Narottam Bhargava, SDM Morena B.S. Kushwaha, police and other subordinates on duty were present. Subordinate staff were entrusted by the District Magistrate to make all the arrangements in Shani Mandir. In which adequate provision of drinking water was made considering the heat. Better arrangements were made from the entrance of the sanctum sanctorum for the devotees to take advantage of the religion. None of the devotees had any problem in darshan.

It is worth mentioning that the Tretayugin temple of Lord Shanidev is established on the Anti Parvat of the district. Devotees from all over the country come to seek the blessings of Lord Shani on Shanischari Amavasya, every Saturday and on the occasion of Shani Jayanti. By anointing God with oil and donating black things we wish for happiness, peace and prosperity in our lives. Even today, devotees anointed Shani with oil and received Dharmalabh. Fifty-six bhogs were offered to Lord Shanidev by the devotees. Tight arrangements were made by the administration and the police for the convenience of the devotees.

Administration and police officials kept a constant vigil inside and outside the temple premises. The store was organized by religious people. Havan-Poojan was performed by the devotees for the peace of themselves and their families. It may be noted that Lord Shanidev was released in the form of a meteorite on Mount Aunty of Morena. The former Maharaja Vikramaditya of India consecrated the only statue of Lord Shani in the Treta Yuga world. The temple was renovated in the 18th century by Maharaja Scindia of the Gwalior kingdom, a close relative of Ahmednagar in Maharashtra. The seeds of which are still installed in the Shani temple. Lord Hanumanji established the Gupta Ganga on Mount Aanti for Lord Shanidev, which continues to flow even today. The secret Ganga water is collected in the form of a tank.
