Lawyer-client relationship depends on trust and confidence: High Court

[ad_1]

Prayagaraj, 19 May (his). The Allahabad High Court has held that the relationship between a lawyer and a client is one of trust and confidence. But not so in the case in question. The court rejected the bail plea of Agra’s Prakash Narayan Sharma alias Babli, who is accused of making porn films, threatening clients and physically assaulting them.

The court said that facts like long-standing relationships, photography, disputes over financial transactions, etc. can get bail. But so far the trial court has not recorded the victim’s statement. In such a situation bail cannot be granted considering the possibility of influencing the victim on release from bail. The court directed the trial court to record the statement of the victim within three months, if there is no legal impediment.

Justice Saurabh Shyam Shamsheri has given this order. The victim took the case to the petitioner. Gradually they became close. A deep physical relationship was formed. There are also photographs in which the petitioner, his wife and the victim went to several places.
