A record of building 100 km road in 100 hours

A new record has been registered in the name of National Highway Authority of India (NHAI). Construction of 100 km long road on Ghaziabad-Aligarh Expressway in Uttar Pradesh has been completed in 100 hours. Covering 112 kilometers in 100 hours is a world record. Earlier, a record of covering 75 kilometers in 105 hours has been set. The Ghaziabad-Aligarh Expressway started at 10 am on May 15 and completed 100 hours at 2 pm today. It is a 6 lane expressway.

Construction of Ghaziabad-Aligarh Expressway involved 6 hotmix plants, 15 sensor pavers and employment to 2000 people. Apart from this, 250 engineers are also engaged in the construction of this expressway, which means that a total of 2250 employees and officials have completed this work.

Construction of 6 lane road
Construction of six-laning of Ghaziabad-Aligarh National Expressway (NH-91) via Cube Highway in Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh was underway in collaboration with L&T. Cube Highway has set a world record for building 100 km of road in 100 hours. So far the world record was 75 km in 75 hours. This program has been organized on the occasion of creating a world record. Union Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari will participate in the program through video conferencing. This program will be organized on 19 May i.e. today at 2 PM at NH-91 Bilsuri M Resort.

80 thousand laborers, use of more than 200 road rollers
About 80,000 laborers were employed in the construction of National Highway 91, while more than 200 road rollers were used. Special care has been taken for beautification of National Highway 91. Proper lighting and beautiful dividers have been made on the road. While there is greenery and trees have also been planted on the divider between the National Highways.

Worked day and night
National Highway 91 was worked day and night, after which the highway work was completed. Hence the National Highway Authority is now preparing to make it a six lane and will soon make it a six lane. This highway is considered to be the busiest. However, people are also facing problems like route diversion and one way due to ongoing work at some places, but now the road is looking very beautiful.
