73% job seekers prefer corporate houses over start-ups

Mumbai: Amidst the current economic uncertainties and recent challenges faced by the startup ecosystem, 73 per cent job seekers said they prefer large corporate houses rather than start-ups, said a report.

According to a report by jobs and professional networking platform Apna, around 73 percent of job seekers prefer stable and established companies to work and grow within the organization. The report is based on a survey of 10,000 job seekers and 1,000 HR recruiters.

Only 27 percent of employees are still considering switching to a start-up for career growth. This shows that professionals are focusing on upskilling and making themselves relevant to move ahead in their current organization.
