Palanpur: In Palanpur’s Ratanpur, a case of selling plots at a concessional rate by the beneficiaries came to light. According to the information, it was learned that seven beneficiaries in Ratanpur of Palanpur have sold relief plots due to the need of money. Not only this, others also bought relief plots and built houses on them. Along with this, it is also alleged that the documents have been uploaded in the assessment register of the Gram Panchayat.

Government concessioned plots can neither be sold nor houses built on them can be rented. Although the plot was not transferable in the name of another, its documents were registered in the assessment register of the Gram Panchayat. After explaining the whole matter, a presentation was made before the District Development Officer.
