The Supreme Court will get two new judges today

New Delhi, May 19 (Hindustan Times). The Supreme Court will get two new judges today (Friday). This is Andhra Pradesh High Court Chief Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra and Advocate KV Viswanathan. Chief Justice DY Chandrachud will administer oath to both.

The names of both were recommended by the Supreme Court Collegium. Two days later, President Draupadi Murmu ordered both to be appointed as judges of the Supreme Court. After their swearing-in, the total sanctioned number of judges in the Supreme Court will be 34.
