Jaipur, May 18 (Hindustan Times). The Rent Tribunal, Mahanagar II has directed Cell Amin to take possession of the land attached to Sri Girdhari Ji Temple and hand it over to the decree holder. The petitioner’s son Ramprasad had committed suicide in the past, fed up with the stoppage of construction on the land.
The court in its order said that if there is a lock in the premises, it should be broken and seized and if the goods are found in the meantime, they should be handed over to the petitioner Ramkishore. On the other hand, if the petitioner is not present, the goods should be listed and handed over to the decree holder. The tribunal also said that in case of law and order situation at the place, police protection should be taken by contacting the station officer concerned. The court has given this order on the petition of Mandir Shri Girdhari.
The petition stated that the Rent Tribunal had passed a final order in the matter on 13 October 2008. The petitioner then appealed to the High Court and then to the Supreme Court. On which the Supreme Court issued an order on 25 August 2017 and gave time till 30 June 2018 to vacate the place. The petitioner also gave an undertaking to vacate the premises before the Rent Tribunal, but the possession of the premises has not yet been handed over to the petitioner.
It is worth mentioning that in the year 2017, the relatives of Ramkishore also got the lease of State Grand. And last March, Ramkishore’s son Ramprasad started construction on the land, but the corporation stopped it. A distressed Ramprasad committed suicide on April 17.
