SP Singh Baghel was given the charge of Health Minister on leave of Minister of State in Modi government

On the advice of the Prime Minister, the President appointed Minister of State S.P. Singh has changed Baghel’s department. He will now hold the new charge of Minister of State in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare instead of Minister of State in the Ministry of Law and Justice.

Earlier, the Law Ministry was taken away from Kiren Rijiju, who was holding the responsibility of various departments in the Modi government. The responsibility of this ministry was now handed over to Arjun Ram Meghwal. This information has been given in a statement issued by Rashtrapati Bhavan. It states that on the advice of the Prime Minister, the President has re-allocated portfolios to the members of the Union Council of Ministers.

Meghwal was given independent charge as Minister of State for Law

Kiren Rijiju is now in charge of the Ministry of Earth Sciences. Earlier Union Minister Jitendra Singh was handling this ministry. Along with this, Meghwal has been given independent charge of Minister of State for Law. Meghwal is already Minister of State in the Ministry of Culture and Parliamentary Affairs.
