  • 2 ripe mangoes
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 slices of bread
  • 1 cup cream
  • 6-7 saffron threads
  • 8-10 cashews
  • 1 tsp ground cashew
  • 1 tsp refined pistachios

First of all, peel and grind the mango well, now make a puree of the mango pieces in a mixie. Do not use water for puree. Put a pan or wok on the gas and boil milk and sugar in it. This will give a nice texture to the kulfi. No milk or custard powder is needed. Keep stirring the milk continuously so that it does not stick. When take 3 slices of bread it will give you good bonding. You will not taste it in Kulfi, now take bread crumbs and mix them in a mixer along with cashew nuts and cardamom powder. Mix saffron in milk. When the milk starts boiling, add bread powder to the milk. It will be a bit thick. Boil the milk for 2 minutes. When it starts showing normal yellow color and becomes thick, turn off the gas. Let the milk cool down. Now add mango pulp to it. Add cream along with it. After this, mix the mixture again in the grinder. Add cashews and pistachios to this mixture as well. After this, fill this mixture in a kulfi mould, a glass and a small bowl and keep it in the freezer. You can enjoy mango kulfi in 6-7 hours.
