Follow these tips to wash silk sarees at home

We love wearing silk sarees, when we wear them we look like Lakshmi. If you wear silk saree than any other saree then you will have some feel on your face. Especially if you wear a silk saree in an auspicious occasion then it will be called auspicious. Hence, silk sarees are given a lot of importance in worship functions and weddings.

But as beautiful as a silk saree is, its maintenance is also a difficult task. Many people give it to dry cleaners, fearing that such an expensive saree will get damaged when washed at home and the color of the border will also stick to the saree, so no one likes to take this risk. But if you know the tricks to wash silk saree then you can wash it yourself:

step 1:
Fill a big bucket with cold water and put the saree in it, if the color fades while putting on the saree, do not put it (silk sarees do not leave color, although some sarees do fade a little).

Add 2 teaspoons of vinegar to a bucket of water and mix. Then put on your silk saree and leave it for 15-20 minutes. The shine of silk saree is maintained by applying white vinegar.

Now put mild detergent in another bucket. Especially use liquid. Use anti-color fading detergent.

Now put the saree in a bucket containing detergent and wash it gently by hand.

Do not wring the saree after step 5

The saree should not be folded anywhere while drying.
