The Commissioner reviewed the health activities of the Bhopal Division

Bhopal, May 17 (Hindustan Times). Divisional Commissioner Mal Singh Bhadia reviewed the various activities and works of the Health Department during this period along with the Chief Medical and Health Officers of all the districts of the Division. Meanwhile, the performance and indicators of various programs were also reviewed.

The Divisional Commissioner directed that registration of pregnancy should be ensured in the first trimester itself, so that the pregnant woman can get all necessary check-up and nutrition services. Also, at least four ANC tests should be done during pregnancy.

He said that pregnant women with severe high risk should be identified early and referred to the nearest hospital for timely delivery. It was stated in the meeting that N. F. H.S. Health indicators have improved significantly in 2020-21 compared to survey 2015-16.

The divisional commissioner said, we should also ensure better services of previous years by reviewing our works ourselves and benefiting the schemes of the health department by having one-to-one discussions with the beneficiaries. The Jan Seva Abhiyan currently being conducted from May 10 to 31 should ensure 100 percent delivery of all departmental services.

Divisional Commissioner Malsingh also said that all pending cases of CM Helpline should be resolved. Ensure responsibilities and accountabilities of all subordinates. Resolve CM Helpline satisfactorily within stipulated time with fixed target. He said that all the services related to women and children health are available in all district hospitals. Information about the facilities including pre-natal check-up, delivery services and expert-supervised SNCU at the hospital should be made available to maximum citizens.

In the meeting, Chief Medical and Health Officers of all the districts discussed the health department programs in the district, Immunization, TB, Leprosy, Blindness Control Programme, National Child Health Programme, Family Welfare Programme, Malaria, Dengue, Chikungunya, e-disease.
