Summer painting training workshops were started to nurture talents

Chitrakoot, May 17 (Hindustan Times). A summer painting training workshop has been started as a joint initiative of Sanskar Bharti District Unit Chitrakoot and Uttar Pradesh State Academy of Fine Arts. In the workshop started at Seth Radha Krishna Poddar Inter College, Sitapur, students in the first group of 10 to 17 years and in the second group of 18 to 25 years are participating. Registration for the workshop continues on Wednesday.

Dr. Gopal Mishra, president of Sanskar Bharti, said that the purpose of the workshop is to enhance the skill development and knowledge in the field of art by discovering the hidden skills of the students towards art during the summer vacation. Workshops have been organized by Kala Sanskar Bharti in association with Rajya Lalit Kala Akademi, UP for the past five years. Students from urban and rural areas of Sitapur Chitrakoot participate enthusiastically. On the demand of students and families this time this program has been organized from 16th May to 15th June from 4 to 6 pm.

He informed that the students trained in this program will get certificates from the State Academy of Fine Arts. At the end of the workshop there will also be an exhibition of paintings made by all the students.

The chief guest of the workshop, Dr. Kiran Tripathi, Head, Department of Hindi, Jagadguru Rambhadracharya Divyang Vishwavidyalaya, said that art, literature and music are inseparable aspects of human life. By giving them an opportunity to develop, they can inculcate excellent human values.

Dr. Harikant Mishra, Chairman, Department of Philosophy, as the special guest, explained the utility of art as an integral part of human philosophy.

Dr. Prasanna Patkar, Dr. Abhay Verma, Dr. Sandhya Pandey, Dr. Mamta, Head of Folk Art Department Chandana Mishra, Dr. Shyam Singh Gaur, Dr. Neelam Singh Gaur, Chairman of Fine Arts Department were present. Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodaya University and participants were present. Convenor Dr.Rakesh Kumar, Co-Convenor Dr.Chandana Mishra. The operation was done by Dr. Jaishankar Mishra.
