Kolkata: Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee has gone on a public relations tour for two months ahead of the panchayat elections in West Bengal. He is going to every district meeting the people and listening to their problems and also assuring them to solve them. Now the Bharatiya Janata Party has also started preparing for Panchayat Yatra in response. Sources have said that the BJP will take out a 21-day panchayat yatra. Under this, at least 200 assembly constituencies of the state will be marched. Which will be led by BJP Yuva Morcha President Indranil Khan. BJP’s Akhil Bharatiya Yuva Morcha president Tejashwi Surya is also likely to participate in this. Apart from this, all the state leaders, MPs and MLAs will also participate in it one after another. State BJP President Sukanth Mazumdar, Leader of Opposition Shubhendu Adhikari and other leaders will also participate in it.

In fact, Abhishek Banerjee’s public relations journey started from North Bengal on March 25, which will end at the seaside after a two-month long run. In response, the Bharatiya Janata Party is preparing to visit at least 500 villages in the state. A separate committee is also being formed for this. Sources said that plans have been made to form 42 committees covering all Lok Sabha constituencies in the state. Indranil Khan said that the Trinamool Congress march was an attempt to save his party from infighting. People are upset with the Trinamool because of the amount of corruption that has taken place across the state. People are hired to visit Trinamool, but in our visit our workers will reach out to people and keep their word.
