Jalaun: A 32-year-old man who came for treatment in the non-communicable disease (NCD) cell of a district hospital told the doctor that he had heaviness in the head. Sleep is not good either. is restless. When examined, it was found that he was suffering from hypertension. Thirty percent of the patients coming to the NCD cell are suffering from hypertension.
The doctor says that if a person’s blood pressure rises, he needs to be careful. Dietary and lifestyle changes are necessary to control it. In order to keep high blood pressure under control, one should look at other alternative methods instead of drugs. Practicing yoga regularly can also control the problem of high blood pressure. Yoga helps keep the body fit and the mind calm. He said that the normal level of blood pressure is 120/80. If less than this, consult a doctor.
Additional Chief Medical Officer, Non Communicable Diseases, Dr. Virender Singh told Hindustan Samachar that a patient may face many health problems due to high blood pressure i.e. high blood pressure or high blood pressure. Patients with high blood pressure are at increased risk of heart disease and stroke. It is a disease which does not show any special symptoms initially, but it is very important to be aware of it.
He said that World Hypertension Day is observed on May 17 to create awareness about the disease. Hypertension Day will be celebrated in all health units on 17th May. Under this, blood pressure prevention, diabetes awareness programs will be held. Along with this, investigation and screening will also be done.
