Mixed response in Indian stock market today, slight decline in Sensex

The Indian stock market is under pressure for the second consecutive day. Due to this, the Sensex opened at 61,862.65 in the initial trend today, which has registered a decline of up to 70 points. While the Nifty-50 opened at 18,263.95, there has been a decline of up to 20 points.

There are mixed signals from the global market. A strong start from Asia. But SGX Nifty is down about 1.5 per cent. US markets closed down one per cent yesterday amid the ongoing debate over the debt ceiling. However, today some recovery is being seen in US futures.
The Sensex opened at 61,932.32 with a flat move of 0.15 points today and closed at 61,932.47 yesterday. Thus the market is showing a completely flat opening. On the other hand, the NSE’s Nifty opened at 18,300.45 with a slight gain of 13.95 points.
How was the pre-opening of the stock market?
Today the stock market looked almost flat in the pre-opening of the stock market. In this business, the BSE Sensex was trading at 61926.61 with a fall of 5.86 points. At the same time, NSE’s Nifty remained in the green zone and closed at 18304.25 with a gain of 17.75 points or 0.10 per cent.
