PM Narendra Modi Japan Visit: PM Narendra Modi will soon visit Japan to attend the G-7 Summit. According to the programme, PM Modi will be visiting Japan from May 19 to 21. Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida has invited PM Modi to participate in this summit. Japan is chairing the G-7 summit.
During the summit, Prime Minister Modi will discuss a wide range of topics including peace, stability and prosperity, food, fertilizer and energy security, health, gender equality, climate change and environment, infrastructure and development cooperation with the G7 countries. Apart from the summit, PM Modi will also hold a bilateral meeting with some of the participating leaders.
After Japan, PM Modi will go to Papua New Guinea, from where he will reach Port Moresby. Here he will jointly host the 3rd Summit of the Forum for India-Pacific Islands Cooperation (FIPIC III Summit) on May 22 with Papua New Guinea Prime Minister James Marape. PM Modi will have a bilateral engagement in Papua New Guinea where he will meet Governor-General Sir Bob Dade and Prime Minister James Marape. This will be the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister to Papua New Guinea.
PM will participate in the Quad Leaders Summit
PM Modi will visit Sydney, Australia from May 22 to 24 to attend the Quad Leaders Summit. Apart from PM Modi, US President Joe Biden and Japanese Prime Minister are also participating in this conference on the invitation of Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. The summit provides an opportunity for leaders to exchange views on the development of the Indo-Pacific region and advance the vision of a free, open and inclusive Indo-Pacific.
PM Modi will also address the Indian community
PM Modi will hold a bilateral meeting with Australian Prime Minister Albanese on May 24. PM Modi will interact with Australian CEOs and business leaders at an event in Sydney on May 23 and will also address the Indian community.
