Gandhinagar: Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has allocated Rs. 2213.60 crore has been sanctioned. Eight roads connecting metro cities will be widened at a cost of 247 crores. Besides this, for maintenance of three state highways with advanced white topping technology Rs. 66 crores have been sanctioned. At a cost of 147 crores, the roads connecting the port, industrial areas will become four-lane. Roads connecting the tourist circuit will be widened at a cost of 105 crores.

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel sanctioned Rs 13.60 crore for the development of 94 roads of 919 km length. Along with the increase in the activities of agriculture-industry-trade etc. in the state, the movement of vehicles has also increased day by day. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has taken a novel approach to develop strong road infrastructure with this Vikasyatra of the state and funds have been sanctioned for 94 works including four laning, 10 meter wide road strengthening, bridges, bypasses on state highways connecting ports. , industrial centre, metropolis and tourist destination.

Not only this, under the Parikrama Path scheme announced in this year’s budget, for widening of 289.3 km of 37 roads passing through 17 districts besides Kutch, Banaskantha, Rs. 467.09 crore worth of works have been sanctioned. Sabarkantha Bhupendra Patel has allocated Rs. 117.71 km for road improvement and widening of 8 roads connecting metro cities like Surat, Rajkot and Gandhinagar. 47.35 crore has been sanctioned. The Chief Minister inaugurated 3 state highways of 16.40 km length using advanced white topping technology to make the roads of the state more durable at a cost of Rs. 66 crore works have been sanctioned. To four-lane 10 roads 177.50 km long and 10 m wide connecting industrial areas like Mundra, Dahej Bandar and Savli, Juknaria etc. at a cost of Rs. 146.81 crore has been sanctioned.

 

The Chief Minister has announced widening of 14.46 km length of 10 roads connecting Vadnagar, Pavagadh, Dharoi-Ambaji, Jambughoda, Sasangir and Somnath tourism circuits of the state. 10.8 crore has been sanctioned. He said that under Pragati Path Yojana, 71.73 km length of 3 roads passing through Surendranagar, Amreli and Kheda districts should be four-lane Rs. 44 crores have been sanctioned. Apart from this, the Chief Minister has allocated Rs. 465 crore has been sanctioned. 1.88.1 crore for land acquisition/construction of city bypass road at places like Vapi, Valsad, Radhanpur, Amreli, Lunawada, Santrampur and Luni in the state and Rs. 1.88.1 crore. 1.88.1 crore of Dubai Bridge for strengthening of bridges, widening of roads but the Chief Minister has sanctioned Rs.11.07 crore.
