A team of 151 members from South India reached the Kartik Swamy Temple

Gopeshwar: A group of 151 people reached Kartik Dham on Tuesday along with Sri Mahamandaleswara Sivacharya, head of various temples in Tamil Nadu and South Indian Murgan Swami Subramaniam at Kartik Swami Kumar Lok on the border of Chamoli and Rudraprayag districts. At the Kartik Swami temple, he offered Yajna and 108 Balampuri conch shells to Lord Kartikeya by worshiping and reciting them.

Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj said that Karthik Swamy is to be brought to the world stage, for which all arrangements are being made gradually. He said that a team of 151 people from Tamil Nadu, South India has reached Kartik Swami Dham and offered prayers. His message will go and be propagated not only in South India but across the state, due to which the number of tourists will increase here.

Temple committee chairman Shatrughan Negi requested the tourism minister to sanction the money for ropeways and other facilities at Kartik Swamy at the earliest. MLA Shaila Rani Rawat, Birendra Rana, Balram Singh, Poorna Singh, Acharya Basudev Thapliyal etc. were present on this occasion.
