During the hearing, the central government told the court that the case of more than 20 prisoners sent to prisons outside the union territory under the Public Safety Act of Jammu and Kashmir was related to national security.

In fact, a petition filed by Raja Begum, a resident of Srinagar and three others, opposed the transfer of 20 prisoners outside Jammu and Kashmir jails, saying that sending them to jails in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana was against Jammu law. and Kashmir. By violating which he has been made captive.
