Sagar, May 15 (Hindustan Times). A meeting for full implementation of Mission Life was organized at Smart City office on Monday under the chairmanship of Corporation Commissioner cum Executive Director and CEO of Sagar Smart City Ltd. Chandra Shekhar Shukla. The Mission Life (Lifestyle for Environment) Jan Abhiyan was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference. Mission Life is a mass campaign for residents to adopt an eco-conscious lifestyle. In this meeting Sanjay Tiwari Sub Engineer Municipal Corporation, V.S. Rai Regional Officer, Dr. Palmi Singh Patil, Dr. R.K. Jain MPPCB and other officials were present. Detailed information was given by Dr. Palmisinh Patil through a presentation for the overall implementation of Mission Life.
Corporation Commissioner Chandra Shekhar Shukla instructed the officials/employees to ensure full implementation of Mission Life in Sagar. He said that Mission Life is an important public campaign to save lives along with protecting the environment. Every citizen can make his own invaluable contribution to environmental improvement and conservation by making small improvements in his daily lifestyle. To this end, sensitize the residents of Sagar through continuous campaigns and rallies etc.
