Lahore: A Pakistani court has granted bail till May 23 to Bushra Bibi, wife of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, in a corruption case. According to Imran, the army is planning to humiliate his wife by sending her to jail.
Referring to the London plan, PTI chief Imran wrote on Twitter, “So now the whole London plan is out.” When I was in jail, they played judge, jury and executioner on the pretext of violence. Now their plan is to use the sedition act to humiliate me by sending Bushra Begum to jail and keep me in jail for the next ten years.’
Army wants to ban PTI
Imran Khan has claimed that his party is planning to ban PTI. He wrote on his Twitter, ‘Then what is left with the leadership and workers, PTI will crack down completely. And just as they banned the Awami League in East Pakistan, they will ban the biggest and only federal party in Pakistan.’
Imran Khan appeals to the people of Pakistan
Appealing to the people of Pakistan, Imran Khan wrote, ‘My message to the people of Pakistan, I will fight for real freedom till the last drop of my blood because death is better for me than being a slave of these bastards.’ I urge all people to remember that we have taken an oath of La Ilaha Illallah, that we do not bow down to any one (Allah).’
