Chirang (also): Two doctors and one nurse on night duty at JSB Civil Hospital in Kajalgaon of the district have been suspended. The administration has taken this action based on media reports. In media reports, doctors and nurses on night duty at the hospital were accused of being drunk.

District Health Department Joint Director Dr. Rehena Begum gave this information to the media after an emergency meeting at JSB Hospital on Monday. He informed that Gynecologist Dr. Deepen Kalita, Dr. Christian Blessing and nurse Nidhi Rani Pal have been suspended and a departmental inquiry is also being conducted against the trio.
