Ayurveda dispensaries at Nadbai and Lawan were upgraded to block hospitals

Jaipur: Ayurveda has an important role in the concept of a healthy Rajasthan. In this order, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved the proposal to build Ayurveda Hospital in Nadbai in Bharatpur and Lawan in Dausa as Block Ayush Hospital.

Gehlot has also approved creation of 41 new posts in these hospitals. The newly created posts include Ayurveda Medical Officer Specialist, Unani Medical Officer, Homeopathic Medical Officer, Senior Ayurveda Nurse, Junior Ayurveda Nurse, Junior Unani Nurse, Junior Homeopathic Nurse, Junior Assistant posts. Apart from this, the services of attendant, guard, gardener and digester will be taken on contract basis.

AYUSH Research Center at Kekari

The Chief Minister has also approved the construction of Rajasthan State AYUSH Research Center at Kekri in Ajmer. 8 crore will be spent on this work. Gehlot’s decision will provide better medical facilities for health promotion and treatment of diseases through AYUSH medical methods.

It is worth mentioning that this announcement was made by the Chief Minister in the budget.
