On Friday evening, Mathefiru’s boyfriend shot dead his girlfriend. After which the accused committed suicide the next day on Saturday evening. Only the lover’s bag was recovered from the spot. After shooting the girlfriend, the accused lover was running to save her from the police. Meanwhile, relatives of the accused got information that he had shot himself at home on Saturday. On getting the information, the police traced the location of his mobile and reached the spot, by which time he was already dead. The police had raided since Friday night to nab the accused lover. Police had started checking at all bus stands and railway stations.

Both the deceased boyfriend and girlfriend were residents of Bihar’s Nawada district. Both were good friends initially. Both are said to be in love with each other. But for some reason the girlfriend was angry with the boyfriend for two months. Because of this she was not talking to her boyfriend. On Friday, in a fit of rage, the boyfriend shot and killed his girlfriend. Then ran away from there. The lover was hiding in the house. Later on Facebook Live, the accused with revolver in hand said, “Khushi ko maar dala, ab kuch ko maar raha hoon… My location has been sent, my 87 number is active. You guys can call on this.
