After defeating BJP in Karnataka, Congress has started preparations to form the government. In this order, the meeting of the victorious MLAs was held today. A one-line resolution was passed in this meeting and the election of the new Chief Minister was left to Mallikarjun Kharge.
A meeting of Congress MLAs began in Bengaluru on Sunday evening, in which former Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Karnataka Congress chief DK Shivakumar, Congress MP and leader KC Venugopal and other Congress leaders were present in the meeting.
In this meeting, all MLAs took a unanimous decision and issued a resolution. Congress MLAs unanimously resolved that AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge has been authorized to appoint the new leader of the Congress Legislature.
Earlier, supporters of Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar were seen outside the hotel raising slogans in favor of their leaders. MLAs meeting was going on in this hotel.
