Artificial milk will be too thin. Its taste will also be quite different from pure milk. You can try these 2 methods to detect adulteration in milk.

drop a few drops of milk on the ground

To identify pure milk, first you have to drop a few drops of milk on the ground. Drop 2-3 drops of milk on the ground and see how the milk flows. If the milk is flowing slowly leaving a white trail, then this milk is pure. But if milk starts flowing fast as soon as it falls on the ground, then understand that it has been adulterated.

You can also use litmus paper to identify adulterated milk. Check by putting two drops of milk on litmus paper. The color of litmus paper changes from red to blue when urea is present in milk. But if the color of the paper remains the same, then assume that it has not been tampered with.
