13778 candidates skipped the PCS-Pre exam in Moradabad

Moradabad, May 14 (Hindustan Times). On Sunday, the PCS-pre exam was concluded peacefully amid tight security at 31 exam centers in Moradabad district. A total of 13,778 candidates took the exam in two shifts, morning and evening. Administrative officers inspected the examination centers in both the shifts. State Senior Subordinate Services (Preliminary) Exam 2023 was organized by Static Magistrate Public Service Commission Prayagraj at all centers.

An average of 400 examinees stayed at each centre. The examination was conducted in two shifts. The PCS pre-examination was held under strict vigilance. A total of 14456 candidates were registered in each shift. In which the first shift was started from 9.30 am. Out of total candidates 6789 candidates could not reach. In the second shift, the examination was started from 2.30 pm, in which 6989 appeared. The question papers were delivered to the examination centers from the double lock of the vault. The officials inspected the exam centers in the morning.

Additional District Magistrate Nagar Alok Verma said the examination was conducted peacefully. 31 Sector and Static Magistrates have been appointed for the examination. Police force was deployed outside the examination centres. Candidates got admission half an hour ago. There was a jam outside the examination centers for some time during the PCS examination. All examination centers were also monitored by CCTV.
