Kanpur (Kanhapur), May 14 (Hindustan). The UP Public Service Commission’s PCS preliminary examination was concluded on Sunday at Kanpur city centres. Apart from the police and administrative officials, the police force and intelligence agencies were also active for strict surveillance. The police-administration was seen to be on high alert to stop the copycat mafia.
Joint Commissioner of Police Anand Prakash Tiwari said that Sector Magistrates and Static Magistrates have been deployed for each exam center in Kanpur to ensure that the examination is conducted without cheating. A total of 1241 examination centers have been set up in the state.
Notably, this exam is conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission. This exam was conducted in two shifts. The exam was conducted on Sunday from 9.30 am to 11.30 am and from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm. All arrangements were made for the peaceful and fair completion of the examination. The duty of sector and static magistrates was imposed to maintain peace and order. CCTV cameras were arranged at all the examination centres.
