Fourth heat wave warning in the state, 4 people have died so far

Heat wave in Maharashtra Heat has wreaked havoc in the state. The mercury touched 45 degrees in most parts of Khandesh, East Vidarbha and Marathwada. Many people are suffering from heat stroke due to walking in the sun. The Meteorological Department has issued a heat wave warning for the fourth time in the state. Heat stroke for next 4 to 5 days

Cyclonic storm Mocha in the Bay of Bengal has moved towards Bangladesh and Myanmar affecting westerly winds. Due to which hot winds are blowing in the state. The storm is likely to subside in the next four to five days.

Intense heat in North Maharashtra, Marathwada

Namrata Chowdhury of Raver taluk of Jalgaon district and Rupali Rajput of Amalner taluk have died. A youth named Vishal Madaswar died in Nanded. Bhimabai, a 70-year-old woman from Sakora village in Nashik district, died of heat stroke here. The death toll has increased to 4.

Jalgaon and Nashik districts are witnessing a sharp increase in temperature for the last five days. The fury of the sun is being seen across the state. The temperature has reached above 40 degrees in most of the cities. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of heat wave in some parts of North Madhya Maharashtra and Konkan. So, there will be a good rise in temperature here. Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg and Raigad districts are already witnessing heat wave conditions.
