Shivpal termed SP’s victory in Etawah as a future challenge for BJP

Etawah, May 13 (Hindustan Times). Samajwadi Party National General Secretary Shivpal Singh Yadav has expressed happiness over the victory of the three municipalities including Etawah in the municipal elections. SP candidate Jyoti Gupta, who was elected as chairman of Nagar Palika Parishad Etawah, attributed the victory to Samajwadi Party leader Shivpal Singh. SP has again captured Etawah Sadar Municipality. Samajwadi Party candidate Jyoti Gupta defeated BJP candidate Kusum Dubey by 29686 votes. It is believed to be the biggest win by an Etawan candidate in a town council in UP.

Jyoti Gupta along with her husband Kuldeep Gupta alias Santu reached Samajwadi Party National General Secretary Shivpal Singh Yadav’s house after receiving the certificate from the returning officer after winning.

Talking to reporters at his residence, Shivpal Singh said, congratulations to the people for winning Etawah, Jaswantnagar, Bharathana seats. The Samajwadi Party has given a strong fight to the Bharatiya Janata Party everywhere. On the Karnataka assembly results, he said that Congress has won, Bharatiya Janata Party has lost. The Samajwadi Party is going to give a tough challenge to the BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Shivpal Yadav said that Samajwadi Party organization has to be strengthened and SP will be a challenge for Bharatiya Janata Party in 2024, organization and party are supreme. We want to tell the Samajwadi Party people that the organization and the party are supreme. It will have to be extensively strengthened in 2024. Taking a jibe at Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, he said that he is a bigoted leader. It will be seen in the upcoming elections. Samajwadi Party will strengthen its organization and party and contest elections more strongly.

SP candidate Jyoti Gupta, who won the Etawah Municipal seat, has credited Samajwadi Party and Akhilesh Yadav for such a big victory. He said that people have given us a lot of love. Thanks to all the voters.
