Bhavanur, Srishti and Manavi first in inter-school swimming competition

Meerut An inter-school swimming competition was organized at IIMT University on Saturday. Prizes were awarded to the winners of the competition.

The Inter-School Swimming Championship was organized on the premises of IIMT University on Saturday. In which students of many schools of Meerut participated. IIMT University Chancellor Yogesh Mohan Gupta, Vice Chancellor Dr. Mayank Agarwal, Priyanshu Agarwal encouraged all the contestants and wished them a better performance.

This championship saw fierce competition between the contestants. Bhavnoor Kaur of Sophia Girls School stood first in the girls category in the age group of six to eight years. In the age group of 11 to 14 years, Srishti stood first, Isha second and Simriva third. Manavi Chaudhary stood first in the 15 to 17 age group. Vihan Tapparwal and Geet Upadhyay of Vidya Global School stood first in the boys category in the age group of 9 to 11 years. Ayush Kumar of Kendriya Vidyalaya stood first, Lakshya Sharma second and Dhruv Khanna of IIMT Academy stood third in the 12 to 14 age group. In the 15 to 17 age group, Prashar of IIMT Academy stood first, Abhishek Lal of St. John’s Senior Secondary stood second and Harshit of IIMT Academy stood third. Abhishikat Lal of St. John’s Senior Secondary stood first in the 18 to 19 age group. The winning players were felicitated.

Neeraj Davis, Head of Physical Education Department, Pratiksha Gupta, Aman, Gyan Prakash, Media Incharge Sunil Sharma etc. were present on this occasion.
