Division wise duty has been imposed. After the order was issued by the Chief Electoral Officer, Chhattisgarh, the preparations for the elections have started in Chhattisgarh.

Bhupesh Sarkar is a guest for a few months, but the employee-friendly promises mentioned in the Congress Jan Manifesto have not been fulfilled by him. The government is in silent mode regarding the demands of the staff officers, due to which there is frustration among the employees.

Chhattisgarh Pradesh Third Class Government Employees Union District Branch President Sheikh Kalimullah, Provincial Vice President Santosh Pandey Provincial Secretary James Varghese, Narendra Parvat Ashish Sharma, District Senior Vice President IC Malakar Vice President Mansai Yadav, Anil Gabel District Secretary Vinod Sadangi, Sanjeev Sethi General Secretary LBS Jatwar Treasurer Arun Verma etc. leaders reminded Bhupesh Sarkar that it was mentioned in the Congress public manifesto titled ‘Respect to government employees’ that promotion and four-level higher pay scale would be implemented for all class III and IV government employees of the state. Action will be taken to regularize the vacant posts of contract and daily wage employees and no one will be retrenched.

The process of promotion is going on at a slow pace in the state, cent percent has not been achieved in all the departments. No procedure has been followed for the four level promotion pay scale. Regularization looks like Mungerilal’s sweet dream. The government has also kept silence on the basic rights of the employees, dearness allowance, house rent allowance. The frustration of the employees is increasing due to the Chhattisgarh Election Commission being in alert mode and the Chhattisgarh government being in silent mode in the case of employees. The office bearers of Chhattisgarh State Class III Government Employees Association, District Branch Raigarh and Tehsil Branch have demanded Chief Minister Bhupesh to issue appropriate orders for announcements in the interest of the employees at the earliest.
