UP civic vote count: SP, BSP alleges irregularities in counting of votes

Lucknow : In Lucknow, when there was a delay in giving the victory certificates to the ward candidates at the counting place at Ramabai Ambedkar Maidan, the Metropolitan President of the Samajwadi Party (SP) Sushil Dixit and the SP workers created ruckus alleging irregularities.

Seeing SP Metropolitan President Sushil Dixit accusing the district election officials, the policemen asked him to come out. On this, Dixit started giving statements after addressing the media persons. Only then the policemen removed the SP workers from there. On this, SP’s metropolitan president also had a scuffle with the policemen.

SP workers came out and raised slogans. Meanwhile, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) officials also started making hue and cry and alleging irregularities, they said that the counting would not be completed. Seeing the uproar on this, the policemen also removed them from there.

The officials of SP, BSP accused of disturbances on the lost seats and said that at present there is a disturbance in the counting of votes. Because of this the candidates of SP and BSP are getting defeated. The SP workers tried to sneer at the enthusiastic atmosphere of the BJP workers but the BJP workers prevailed over them.
