State Bank of India (SBI)

SBI has said that people do not need to show any identity card or fill a slip to exchange notes ranging from Rs 2000 to Rs 20 thousand in any branch of SBI.

HDFC bank

 

From May 23 to September 30, customers can deposit Rs 2,000 notes into their HDFC Bank accounts. In this bank, notes of 2000 rupees can be changed up to 20 thousand rupees in a day.

ICICI Bank

The customer can deposit Rs at any branch of ICICI Bank or at the bank’s cash deposit machine. 2000 notes can be deposited. Senior citizens can avail doorstep banking services of ICICI Bank. There is no fixed limit for depositing 2000 rupee notes in this bank. Also, no fee will be charged for this process till 30 September.

Canara Bank

No charges will be levied on cash remittance by depositing Rs 2000 notes in Canara Bank. The bank gave this information through its official Twitter account.

Punjab National Bank

No ID proof will be required to exchange Rs 2,000 notes up to Rs 20,000 in PNB. PNB has instructed all its branches not to fill any form related to exchange of Aadhaar card, any official document or note.
