BJP has made many big announcements for the people of Jammu Kashmir including jobs for youth, annual money to farmers and women, and metro. Releasing the manifesto on behalf of the BJP, Home Minister Amit Shah said that this area of Jammu and Kashmir has been very important for our party since independence, and since independence, we have always made efforts to keep this area connected with India. From Pandit Premnath Dogra to the martyrdom of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee… this entire struggle was carried forward first by the Bharatiya Jana Sangh and then by the Bharatiya Janata Party. Because our party believes that Jammu and Kashmir has always been and will remain a part of India.

Amit Shah counted the achievements of the BJP

Amit Shah said that till 2014, the shadow of terrorism and separatism always prevailed over Jammu and Kashmir. These always destabilized Jammu and Kashmir and all the governments dealt with Jammu and Kashmir with the politics of appeasement. This period from 2014 to 2024… when the history of Jammu and Kashmir and India will be written, Jammu and Kashmir will be inscribed in golden letters. These 10 years… have been of peace and development for Jammu and Kashmir, of good governance. In these 10 years, this state has shifted from maximum terrorism to maximum tourism.

Shah attacked the Congress
Amit Shah further said that Articles 370 and 35A… have now become a thing of the past, they are not a part of our Constitution. The whole of India and the people of Jammu and Kashmir are happy about this. Because Article 370 was the link that made the youth in Kashmir hold stones and weapons in their hands. Today, under the leadership of Modi Ji, a lot of work has been done in the field of development in Jammu and Kashmir. Earlier, democracy was limited to only three families here. There were no panchayat elections, no tehsil panchayats were formed, nor were there district panchayats. The BJP government has restored Panchayati Raj by conducting elections of gram panchayat, tehsil panchayat, district panchayat, and municipality and has established democracy. Targeting the Congress, Shah said – “I want to ask Rahul Gandhi ji that you should clarify in front of the people of the country and Jammu and Kashmir, nothing will happen by your silence. Does the Congress party agree with the agenda of the National Conference or not? You answer yes or no.”
