Yogi government will give free bus travel gift to sisters on Rakshabandhan

Lucknow: Like every time, this year too, on Rakshabandhan, the Yogi government is going to give the gift of free travel to the sisters in UP Roadways buses. On the instructions of CM Yogi Adityanath, UP Roadways is preparing to issue its order soon. It is being told that from midnight of August 21 to midnight of August 22, sisters will get this facility in all categories of government buses of the state.

The third phase of Mission Shakti in UP is starting on August 21, just a day before Raksha Bandhan. On this holy festival of brother-sister affection, the government has given free facility to sisters to travel in state government buses. Last year, about 3.5 lakh sisters took advantage of this facility and traveled by UP Roadways buses on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.

Preparations to give many more gifts The
state government is also preparing to give some more gifts to the sisters on this Rakshabandhan apart from free travel in the bus. It is being told that under the third phase of Mission Shakti, which is starting just a day before Raksha Bandhan, CM Yogi Adityanath will give the gift of posting to the women policemen as beat police officers. Children of women police personnel will also get the gift of kindergarten in all districts. Apart from this, 1.5 lakh daughters deprived of Kanya Sumangala Yojana and 1.73 lakh new beneficiary women of the destitute women’s pension scheme will be linked to the main function organized at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Lucknow.
