The Test series between India and Bangladesh is starting from 19th September. Before the start of this series, Team India had the support of a new legend. This legend is none other than Morne Morkel. Morne Morkel has joined Team India as a bowling coach. Morne’s journey has been quite amazing. Now after joining the Indian team, he has revealed his plans, Indian bowling, and his experiences. BCCI has also uploaded a video of this on its website.

Morne Morkel said

After joining Indian cricket, Morne Morkel said that when he got the call and he finished the call, he sat in the room for about five minutes and kept thinking about it. Then he first called his father and talked to him about it. He said that he did not even go to his wife. Usually, he goes to your wife first but he told his father about this first. He has been a fan of cricket for years and this is a very special moment for him.

He further said that he enjoyed it for about 5-7 minutes and then obviously shared it with his family and said that this is the opportunity and potentially it can happen. Morne looked very happy about this. He finally got things and he is now fully prepared and looking forward to a great journey and time with India. Morne further said that it is important for him to connect with people. He has played a lot against some players. He has seen some people during the IPL and he is connected with them now he needs to be in the camp and make friendships and relationships.

Gave a big statement about the bowlers of Team India

When asked about the young bowlers of the Indian team, Morne Morkel said that having talent and skill in the bowlers is one thing, but how you can make the young players feel in this environment is a big thing. There are a lot of expectations from playing for India wearing the blue jersey. So their job is to gain experience and go through it, just pass on that knowledge and help them settle down and feel at home. He feels that, as soon as a player gets that comfort and feels comfortable in that place, his performance will automatically improve.
