Indian players continue their stellar performance in the Tokyo Paralympic Games. Shooter Singhraj Adhana has given India a bronze medal on the seventh day.
Sinhraj Adhana has won a bronze medal in the men’s 10m Air Pistol SH1 event. With this, India’s medal tally in Tokyo Paralympics 2020 has now increased to eight.
In the men’s 10m Air Pistol SH1 event, Manish Narwal failed to clinch a medal despite topping the qualifying round. Manish Narwal had to be content with seventh place in the final round.
In this event, China’s current champion Chao Yang (237.9 Paralympic records) won the gold medal. While Huang Xing 237.5 won the silver medal. India got the second medal in the shooting event of the Tokyo Paralympics. Earlier, Avani Lekhara of Jaipur had won the gold medal in the R-2 Women’s 10m Air Rifle Standing SH1.
