Taapsee Pannu said- ‘So-called insiders’ never accepted my films and I don’t even expect them to

Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu said that the ‘insiders’ in the film industry never gave her any attention and she doesn’t even expect it from her. Taapsee launched her production banner ‘Outsiders Films’ at the beginning of the year.

After the death of Sushant Singh Rajput last year, there was an ‘Insiders- Outsiders debate’ in the film industry. In an interview, Taapsee Pannu had said that she does not think that being an outsider in the film industry, an actor-artist is in any way less than an insider.

My audience has made me successful
Taapsee said in one of her interviews that, “I have never seen an outsider less than an insider. Being an insider or an outsider in the industry does not guarantee success. My audience will make me successful. Till now, my films, whatever my work. It is because of the audience, and not because the so-called insider has approved it.

No, he didn’t and he still doesn’t. It’s not that I also expect it from them because I have come here because of myself. Audiences went and bought tickets for my films and made it a hit.”

I will take a ‘graceful exit’ when I feel it
Talking further, she says that she does not feel the need to be an insider in Real, which is why I named my production house ‘Outsiders Films’ because she wants to remove the negative meanings surrounding this word.

Taapsee also said that she would like to work as long as the audience is there, and if I feel that they have stopped welcoming my films, I will take a ‘graceful exit.

Will be seen in ‘Annabelle Sethupathi’
Taapsee has produced the film ‘Blur’ under her recently launched production house. Her last film was Netflix’s Haseen Dilruba, and will now be seen in the film Annabelle Sethupathi.
