Sunil Gavaskar wants to see this cricketer as the captain of the Indian team in the next two T20 World Cups

The current captain of the Indian team, Virat Kohli, will step down from the captaincy after the T20 World Cup starting next month. After this, Rohit Sharma can be seen captaining the Indian team in the shortest format of cricket. Former Indian team captain Sunil Gavaskar wants to see Rohit Sharma captaining the Indian team in the upcoming World Cup itself.

Talking about the next captain and vice-captain of Team India in the Star Sports show Cricket Connected, Sunil Gavaskar expressed his desire that in the T20 World Cup starting next month and then next year in Australia. Rohit Sharma should captain the Indian team.

While India’s great Test batsman Sunil Gavaskar has chosen KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant for the vice-captain. Sunil Gavaskar said that he feels Rohit is ready for the upcoming two World Cups.
