Suspense Crime, Digital Desk : The BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) has made an official announcement stating that star pacer Prasidh Krishna has been drafted in as a replacement for Mohammed Siraj in India's T20I squad for the impending tour of Ireland and England.

The Men in Blue are all set to visit the islands of Ireland and England for a multi-format white-ball series. The series includes two T20I games against Ireland followed by five T20I matches and three ODIs against England.

The Indian squad for the series was recently announced by the BCCI, however, an alteration has been made in the squad owing to workload management as star pacer Prasidh Krishna has replaced Mohammed Siraj in the T20I team.

"Following discussions between the BCCI Medical Team and the Team Management, Siraj has been advised a period of rest as part of his workload management programme. The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure to ensure adequate recovery ahead of a long international season," the BCCI said.
