The discussion about Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal’s ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’ started two years ago. The preparations for the film had also started with a big budget, but earlier due to the coronavirus epidemic, its pre-production work was stopped and now the film has been put on hold. Fans were eagerly waiting for this film. Sara Ali Khan was going to be seen in the lead role for the first time with Vicky Kaushal in the film.
The film did not even start properly, but it is being said that Ronnie Screwvala Films, the producer of the film, has suffered a heavy loss. According to the report of Bollywood Hungama, preparations were going on for the last two years for ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’. A lot has been spent on the pre-production stage. The team of makers had several meetings with the pre-visualization and VFX team. The International Action Unit was called to train Sara Ali Khan and Vicky Kaushal in action.
The report said, “Ronnie Screwvala has spent more than 30 crores on this and now all this money is wasted in a jiffy.” Aditya Dhar, the director of ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’, was directing this film. There was a lot of difference between Ronnie and Aditya regarding creative things in the film. After that, he decided to stop the film. It is also being said that Ronnie Screwvala had fixed a budget for the film, but this budget was getting out of his control.
Vicky Kaushal also shared two posters of ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’ with the fans through his social media account on January 11 this year. He was very excited to work in the film. While sharing the poster of the film, he told his feelings to the fans.
