Famous comedy actor Rajpal Yadav was last seen in Shilpa Shetty and Meezaan Jaffrey’s film Hungama 2. In a recent interview, the actor has said that he does not see himself fitting into the OTT platform, whereas Rajpal Yadav’s last few films ‘Coolie No. 1’ and ‘Hungama 2’ were released on both streaming platforms.
Rajpal Yadav told the leading lady that, “The trend of OTT has gained momentum, but I do not see myself fit in that place. I do not relate myself to the kind of web series that are coming out in the last few years. I do not like to abuse on screen, which has become quite common in web series these days. I have got applause without abusing for my work.”
He continued, “I don’t want to do something that I don’t appreciate in real life. I didn’t want to make a living by being bullied on screen and thankfully, I didn’t have to. I am very fortunate that even after two decades people are not getting bored of me. I give credit to my fans for keeping the actor in me alive.”
Let us tell you that Rajpal Yadav is known for his sorting role in comedy films. He further said that the only person who dared to cast me in the main lead was Ram Gopal Varma. I have worked in more than half a dozen of his films. Ram Gopal Varma dared to offer me the lead role in Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon. He recalled that that year he was nominated for Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Salman Khan, Ajay Devgan, Shahrukh Khan Awards.
